Dear Elena , Paula , Daniel and Families : I am shocked and saddened by the news of Joe’s passing so unexpectedly …please accept my deepest heartfelt sympathies ….I am so very sorry for your loss. I never did , nor will I ever forget Joe for he was so kind , generous and happy . His sense of humour was contagious as was his positivity and his dedication to his dear family and to his dental practice . My memories of Joe ( and you , Elena ) go back to long ago …to the very start of Joe’s Dental Practice on Drummond Street …8th Floor. Those were wonderful years ! I retain so many fond memories . We worked well together , shared out lunch hours in the lunch room and occasionally on the patio at Thursdays , and at break time with coffee, tea and bagels ..takeout from Hymie’s . There were drop by visits from family and friends too …including little Paula ( whom I occasionally babysat ) …until I moved away from Montreal . Fortunately , my good friend Margaret , also a patient in Joe’s Dental Practice for over 40 years , has kept me abreast regarding Joe , the dental practice and Joe’s family . You are in my thoughts and prayers during these most difficult and trying times . May you find comfort in your sweet and loving memories of Joe and your times together and may you find the strength and courage to carry on in Joe’s loving light and spirit .
