Dear Marcy, Gerald, and the rest of the family -- the thing about Auntie Reva was that she was always curious, always learning, taking courses, and she enjoyed talking with younger people and hearing their views. Just the other night, my husband Al remarked how much he had enjoyed conversing with her. Some years ago, we held a 95th birthday lunch for my mother at the Waldorf, where my oldest friends whom I had invited talked with Reva more than their contemporaries. Al and I send you our deep condolences.

Dearest Marcy, When I first met “Mrs. Cuttler” 42 years ago, I was immediately struck by her warmth, kindness, and big, beautiful smile. Over the years, it was always a delight to see and chat with her, whenever you would come back to Montreal for a visit. During the latter part of her life, she faced such unspeakable loss, yet she persevered, and so graciously, because she was one strong and resilient lady. May you find comfort in your memories of Reva and her 97 years well-lived, and surrounded by those who adored her. Sending much love to you, Howard, and the boys, and to the entire family.

Reva had the ability to make everyone she met feel special. I have literally never heard anyone answer a phone so excited to hear from the person calling. She is the woman who believed in me and taught me everything I know in accounting. I have fond memories of working with her. May she rest in peace. May G-d bless you, her family, and close friends.

Dear Cuttler family, I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
