We are so very saddened to know that Yetta is no longer with us. As the youngest of the four Brownstein sisters, Yetta was a tour de force. She and Swifty always welcomed me into their home and made me happy to be with them. From playing with Faygie and Arthur when we were kids, to sleepovers up north, to camp visiting days…Yetta made me feel special. As I grew up, Yetta and I had catch up conversations about “the family”…….with many sometimes funny or sometimes sad stories to go along with them. It was pure entertainment when the four Brownstein sisters would get together. Annie, Katie, Esther and Yetta were uniquely spirited and always vocal at their get togethers. The rest of us would just listen and marvel at their ability to laugh, talk, agree or disagree all at the same time. Saying goodbyes were legendary….they never seemed to end. And saying a final goodbye now to my aunt Yetta seems so unreal. Know that she will always be remembered and never forgotten.
