Dear Yitz, Tamar and Rudy, I was so saddened to learn of Sharona's death. I will always remember her as the member of the (Hashomer Hatzair) 'gang' who, like my father, Monte (Z'l), was not the loudest/extroverted of the group - there were plenty of those to go around. But Sharona could be counted on to really listen and let me know, though her thoughtful questions and responses, that she cared. I can also conjure up clear image of Sharona's subtle expression of bemusement at the antics of her dear friends. I consider the 'gang' and their progeny as my extended family. Time marches on. And people can't live forever. I'd like to think that Sharona has joined the other members of her cherished circle of Shomer friends who have departed this earth, and is now frolicking with them in that great 'Chava' in the sky. I hope that you can take some comfort in your memories of your dear wife and mother, and from the love and support of family and friends. My thoughts are with you. With Love (and sadness), Leora

My deepest condolences to you Tamar and Steve, Ruth and France, family and friends. Herb's and my friendship with Sharona not only began with our shared experiences in the Zionist Movement, but also with the raising of our children and the shared friendships our Group. Sharona was intellectually curious, kind, generous, and a pleasure to be with. We shared holidays together,, Koffee Klatches, joys and sorrows. We saw our children grow up to be responsible human beings, and wisely, you were always there to advise and support. We already miss you terribly. May your memory be a blessing.

As a school friend of Rudy's since my teens, I first met Sharona in my twenties, when Rudy and I first reacquainted, bonded, became roommates and, to this day, remained lifelong friends. Over the years, Sharona has become my Facebook messenger pal from across the country. Over several decades, I have known Sharona to be loving, caring and thoughtful. She's always made me welcome and an equal as we engaged in incredibly enlightening conversations. I was grateful to have a lengthy chat with her last year, as the pandemic prevented me from seeing her in person during my last visit to Montreal. Sharona taught all of us about humility and humanity and has been an inspiration to me over several decades. I absolutely love everything about Sharona and the entire Granovsky family. The Dattel's and I send our heartfelt condolences to everyone during this somber time. With much love - Eyal

Dear Yitz, Tamar,Steve, Rudy,France, We were heartbroken to hear of Sharona"s passing. Ever since I can remember our families have been intertwined.I grew up seeing Sharona through the eyes of a child and then through the eyes of an adult. My love and affection for her only grew stronger. She was a warm, kind, gentle person who always greeted you with a huge smile. She always took an interest in other people and had a calm and soothing voice which always made you feel so welcomed in her world. They say that friends can become closer than family and that was so true of Sharona. We were so lucky to have had her in our lives. She will be greatly missed by the Hait family.

I have known Sharona for 44 years, since I first became close friends with Tamar. She was always so kind and welcoming to me in her lovely home. I want to send condolences to Tamar & Steve, Ruth & France, and all her family near and far. When my daughter was little, our paths crossed frequently at the JPL children's library. She was passionate about books for children, and when I became a children's author myself she was so supportive. She agreed to read my newest manuscript for me when she was 90, offering advice and encouragement. Her mind was as sharp as ever! I know these last few years have been very difficult, and now she is at peace. She will be missed.

Bernard (Bucket ) and Shirley Herman Dear Granovsky family. We are finding this condolence very hard to express. We feel a very special relationship with the Granovsky"s As ex chalutzim and all that it meant to us, our life style , our interpretation and outlook on the world we hoped we would contribute to making it better. Well Sharona never gave up, and in her own way did and lived and tried her best. Her book revues were well interpreted and received. Except for Itz"s raids on the fridge she was calm. How loud Itz played His operas Sharona endured. She was the perfect wife. She raised two beautiful girls that were a blessing to her in her old age. Sharona KOL HAKAVOD.

Dearest Yitz, Tamar & Steve, Rudy & France. Sharona might have been small in physical stature, but she had a large and caring heart, a full sense of devotion, an immense wisdom, a great love of reading, discussion and debate .....and an ever so humble and gentle demeanor. She took life in stride, practical in nature and positive in outlook. She will be greatly missed and most lovingly remembered by those of us in her extended family of "Chavrei Shomer". With fondness, love and admiration for Sharona, we send our deepest condolences - Mia & Menahem and family and on behalf of my mom, Rama and dad, Monte (Z'L), close family friends for over 70 years.
