Dear Billy, Shawn & Amanda. There are no words to describe the heartache and shock we feel upon learning about the sudden loss of your sister, aunt, great aunt to Ethan &Emma and our very special and dear friend. Lenore and I were friends for over 50 years. Met in grade 6 at Logan school and continued our friendship through high school. We grew up on the same street and our special friendship continued until her last day. She slowly became a part of our family and there wasn’t a holiday, or milestone we celebrated with out her. Last Friday we were actually looking forward to her joining us for Shabbat as she did on many occasions. It was also Chanukah which made this even more special. After not being able to connect with her to make arrangements to pick her up we made some inquiries and finally learned of her untimely passing. We are all still in shock and disbelief. How could such a kindhearted gentle soul be deprived of her life at such a young age? She was a considerate, thoughtful and loving friend who always put other people’s needs above her own. When asked how she was or feeling she would give a quick vague answer but always made sure to ask how every member of the family was including the dog and the cat. She was a hard worker at JGH, a dedicated volunteer but most of all a devoted daughter, a loving sister, sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt. She adored her family and always spoke about them lovingly with pride and joy! We want to express our deepest condolence on the loss of Lenore. She will be forever missed. Our holiday table will never be the same without her. May you all be spared further sorrow. Sending big hugs. Love the Goldfarb’s.

My deepest condolences to the family. Words cannot express how truly shocked and saddened I am by the sudden passing of Lenore, who I was good friends with for over 40 years. We had some truly fun and memorable times back in the day when I was living in Montreal. Lenore was a kind and caring person who cared about her family and friends, and always saw the good in everyone, which is truly a testament to her character. Rest in peace my friend.
