Zelda Singer (née Gurman)

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that Zelda’s family announces her peaceful passing at home in Toronto on Sunday, January 19, 2025, in her ninety-third year. Beloved wife of the late Jack Singer. Loving and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Richard and Victoria Singer, Audrey and Howard Spigelman, and Marla and Brian Haspel.  Much loved and adored Grandma of Jesse and Lisa Singer, Jordana Singer, Ashley and Courtney Spigelman, Carly and Nathan Haspel. Great-Grandma of Reeve and Kira Singer. Predeceased by her loving parents, Rachel and Meyer Gurman. Dear sister and sister-in law of Zelda and the late Jack Gurman, the late Harry and the late Sonia Gurman, the late Lily and the late Abie Friedman, the late Molly and the late Jack Karachinsky, the late Morris and the late Edith Gurman, the late Sam and the late Sheila Gurman; and predeceased by Jack’s siblings and their spouses. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Heartfelt gratitude to her caregivers, Nena and Mae for their exceptional care and devotion.
