Thelma Barclay

Peacefully on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, surrounded by her family, in her ninety-fifth year.  Beloved wife of the late Hy Barclay. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Jerrold Barclay and Katharyn Morgan, Debra (Trudy) and Walter Diamond.  Dear bubby of Gabrielle and Mark Etcovitch, Andrea Majnemer and Ian Segal.  Most special and fun double Bub to Jordyn and Ryder Etcovitch, and Wesley Segal.  Daughter of the late Pearl and the late Meyer Sussman.  Favorite Aunt to all her nieces and nephews.  The family would like to thank the angels that work at the Beit Chai senior residence and Sandy and Paul Morton for all their love, kindness and attention.  Also, a special thank you to Dr. Henri from the Verdun Hospital and the amazing nurses and staff of the geriatric department. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, June 27 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Hungarian Hebrew Section, Baron De Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her daughter's home Thursday following burial from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to Israel Cancer Research Fund, (514) 481-2723.
