Peacefully on Monday, September 23, 2024, in his eighty-fifth year, with his family by his side. Dearly beloved husband of Dorothy for fifty-eight years. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Kevin and Michelle, Jordan and Nathalie. Cherished grandpa of Zachary, Bex, Gabriel, Benjamin, Alexia, and David. Son of the late Jean and the late Jacob Steinberg; and son-in-law of the late Bessie and the late Sam Cohen. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Howard and Vicki, Janice and the late Henry; and brother-in-law of Frances and Herb. Stanley will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Special thanks to Susannah and Ana, as well as the 5th floor staff at Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their care, kindness and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Tifereth Jerusalem Old #1 (C26) Section, de la Savane. Shiva at 5885 Marc-Chagall Ave. (reception room), Tuesday following burial until 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., continuing in Orlando and Boston Sunday and Monday.
