Peacefully, on Monday, October 21, 2024. Beloved husband and best friend of Ruthy for seventy-two years. Devoted and loving father and father-in-law of Jackie and the late Harriet Wenger z”l, and Gloria Lifschutz. Cherished Zaida of Jarred Wenger, Lindsay Wenger and Adam Yuck; Morris and Sarah, Joseph and Teresa, and Max and Tamara Lifschutz. Proud great-grandfather of Harrison, Harper, Noah, Elliot, Madison, Aria, and Kaia. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses. Solly will be sadly missed by Carin Smiley, his nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Heartfelt gratitude to Solly’s caregivers, Juliet, Andrea, and Aliya for their love and compassion. Graveside service on Wednesday, October 23 at 2:00 p.m., at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation, Tifereth Jerusalem Section (C21), de la Savane. Shiva at his home. Due to the festival of Succoth, shiva begins Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday through Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily. Evening services at 7:30 p.m. daily.
