Sidney Samuel Applebaum

Peacefully, after a long struggle, on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, a few months shy of his eighty-fifth birthday. Loving and devoted husband of Anne for almost sixty-five years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Josh Applebaum and Susan Pinsky, David Applebaum and Marla Goldberg. Adored Zaidie of Jesse Applebaum and Emily Kirstein, Harley Applebaum and Rachel Stotland, Rachel Applebaum and Andrew Shapiro, Jake Applebaum and Julia Moyal. He was blessed to be the ‘Big Zaidie’ to Scottie, Brody, Charlotte, Morgan, and new great-grandson (Mazel Tov). Son of the late Rose and the late Harry Applebaum. Brother of the late Toby Mills. Special thanks to Lovele Padillo for looking after Sidney like he was her own father.
