Seymour "Socky" Sokoloff

In his ninety-third year on Friday, December 20, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Rhona Wilner for thirty-five years. Adored father and father-in-law of Sheryl Schwartz, Bonnie and Jay Lefton, Wendy Sokoloff and Douglas Wright, the late Frankie Sokoloff; and caring stepfather of Samuel Shpritser, Eve Shpritser, and Jill Shpritser. Loving “Grandpa Socky” of David and Liz, Arielle and Justin, Jonathan and Lior; Emily and fiancé John, Clare, and Ben; Aydan, and Lucas; Hannah, and Leora. Great-grandfather of Elie. Dearest brother and brother-in-law of Jerry and Marilyn Sokoloff, the late Elliot Sokoloff, and brother-in-law of Anne and Barry Stein, and the late Allen Wilner. His nieces, nephews, and their families will remember him with love. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Seymour’s family would like to acknowledge the doctors, nurses, and staff of the 15th floor at the Montreal General Hospital for their exceptional care, kindness, and compassion.
