Holocaust Survivor

February 11, 1921 – June 26, 2024

Peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, in his one hundred and fourth year. The last of six siblings who miraculously survived the Shoah, Saul was the beloved husband of the late Diana Umansky for fifty-nine years. Loving father and father-in-law of Irwin and Marcy Bruck, Lydia Bruck. Adored Zaidy of Riva Bruck and Neil Paterson, Natalie, and Carly Bruck. Proud Big Zaidy of Cillian Paterson (Dan Meir). Devoted son of the late Israel and the late Dina Bruck. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses Nadja and Yaacov Feitlovitcz, Sala and Issie Fayerman, Rose and Simon Sonabend, Bella and David Diamanstein (Irv Kurtz), Jack and Nina Bruck, Barry and Selene Bruk. Brother-in-law of Ann and the late Shemon Yaphe.

Saul was the patriarch of his family and his community, respected by all for his honesty, integrity and generosity. He will be deeply missed but his legacy is carried on by the next generations.
