Ruth Henneman Gerard

Ruth passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 after a long and courageous battle. She was the daughter of the late Alice and the late Harry Henneman. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Scott and Amy Gerard, Lisa and Scott Crandall. Adored sister and sister-in-law of Donna and the Late Israel Yampolsky, Barbara and Alan Zavalkoff. Ruth was the cherished Nana of Emily, and Lilly Crandall; and Jaden Gerard. Ruth was the most loved aunt of Michie and the late Gerry Yampolsky, Marcia and Mathew Burnstein, Andrea Yampolsky and Alan Marshall, Erin Zavalkoff, Drs. Samara Zavalkoff and Mitch Shein. Ruth was the great aunt of fifteen loving great-nieces and great-nephews and six great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. The funeral will be on Sunday, December 1 in New Jersey. Shiva will take place in New Jersey and in Montreal. Shiva in Montreal at the home of Barbara and Alan Zavalkoff on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
