It is with great sadness that the family of Rozalia Wender announces her passing on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, in her ninety-sixth year. Beloved wife of the late Arnold Wender. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Remy Wender and Helaine Reich, Simona and Jimmy Kadoch. Much loved ‘Momo’ (Toto) of Enny (Zev Herskovits), David, Tammy (David Toledano), Stephanie, and Lisa. Adoring great-grandmother of Jamie, Rosie, Leo, Ethan, and Charlotte Herskovits. Predeceased by her dear siblings and their spouses. Rozalia will be deeply missed by her niece, Bea (Moshe Engler) and nephew, Gaby Dascal, as well as by her family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Maison Valeo for their care, kindness and devotion. Graveside service on Thursday, October 10 at 3:00 p.m. at the Beit Abraham Family Estates Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at 104 rue Caruso, D.D.O., Thursday following burial until 9:00 p.m., and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Due to the advent of Yom Kippur, shiva ends Friday afternoon.
