Rita Leiner

In Ottawa in her ninety-second year, on Monday February 3, 2025. Devoted wife of the late Jack Leiner for fifty-seven years.  Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Brenda (Allan Landsman) and the late Mel Schafer, Marvin and Marci Leiner. Cherished grandma of Karen and Jason McIntyre, Heidi Levine and Mike Deskin; Matthew Leiner, and Aaron Brown. Proud great-grandmother of Jordan McIntyre; Mason, and Isla Deskin. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Bernice and the late Stanley Morris, and the late Joyce Morris and sister-in-law of the late Beatrice and the late Leonard Ellison. Rita will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Dinna for her care and compassion, and to the staff of Hillel Lodge.
