Morty Lober

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Morty Lober announces his peaceful passing, surrounded by his loved ones on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. Beloved husband of Bonnie Shore Unger and the late Lynnie Lackman. Cherished father and father-in-law of Zachary Lober and Alice Zulkarnain, and Janie Lober.  Adored Papa of Isabel and Livvy.  Dearest brother and brother-in-law of Helen and Morty Zafran. Loving uncle of Joan Zafran, Jeremy Zafran and Daphne Amster. Predeceased by his parents Lillian and Joseph Lober.  Morty will be deeply missed by Bonnie’s children, Stephanie Unger and Eric Branover, Robbie Unger and Matthew Cameron. Special Papa to Jack, Maggie and Max. Treasured son-in-law of Carol and Wally Shore. Dear brother-in-law of Linda Shore. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, family and friends.  Heartfelt gratitude to Drs. Kim Ma, Lorenzo Ferri, Mahshad Darvish, Angela Fajardo, Marcia Gillman, Talia Abecassis and Blair Schwartz for their exceptional care and devotion. Profound appreciation to Martin Nguyen, Rhythm Sharma, Joni Mestel and Jeannette Rosales.  Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, September 27 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the Bassarabier Hebrew Cemetery UHC, de la Savane.
