Marga Zummer (née Lift)

On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, in her ninety-second year. Beloved wife of Frederik Zummer for seventy-four years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Michel Zummer and Sandra Kaufman Zummer, and the late Shirley Zummer. Cherished Nana of Jaryd Zummer and Katelyn Garner Zummer; Brittany Zummer-Ma and Byron Ma. Best ‘Great-Nana’ of Sienna Shay Zummer-Ma. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Sonia Lift Cohen and the late Baruch Cohen; and sister-in-law of the late Tony Zummer Signer. Marga will be fondly remembered by family and friends. Heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Habib and Benny Romano of the Oncology Department at St. Mary’s Hospital, as well as the staff of CLSC Benny Farm and Mt. Sinai Hospital for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, December 8 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at Memorial Park Section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery (A2), de la Savane.
