AZOULAY, Marcelle (née Bouzaglo)
C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Madame Marcelle Azoulay (née Bouzaglo) le vendredi 21 juin 2024, à l’âge de 89 ans. Mère adorée de Nadine Azoulay (David Harboun), Eric Azoulay, Beatrice Azoulay, Johnny Azoulay (Cheryl). Mimi tant aimée de ses petits-enfants, Sarah Harboun (Jeremy Maron), Olivia Harboun (Jake Berkson), Alexandra Harboun, Zachary Azoulay, Sean et Jonah Azoulay, de son arrière-petit-fils, Leo Maron. Elle manquera énormément à ses nombreux neveux et nièces qui l’adoraient.
Une grande dame, courageuse et dévouée à sa famille ainsi qu’à son partenaire Aaron Cohen Z’L. Son départ laisse un vide profond dans notre vie. Elle est partie, avec toute la discrétion qui la caractérisait.
Nous adressons nos plus sincères remerciements à son accompagnatrice Chandra Singh pour son énorme dévouement ainsi qu’aux équipes de soins du 2ème et 4èmes étages du Centre gériatrique Maimonides Donald Berman au cours des dernières années.
Le service funéraire aura lieu le dimanche 23 juin à 15h00 chez Paperman & fils, 3888, rue Jean Talon Ouest. L'enterrement se tiendra au cimetière Baron de Hirsch, rue de la Savane.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marcelle Azoulay (née Bouzaglo) on Friday, June 21, 2024, in her eighty-ninth year. Adoring mother of Nadine Azoulay (David Harboun), Eric Azoulay, Beatrice Azoulay, and Johnny Azoulay (Cheryl). Loving ‘Mimi’ of Sarah Harboun (Jeremy Maron), Olivia Harboun (Jake Berkson), Alexandra Harboun, Zachary Azoulay, Sean and Jonah Azoulay. Proud great-grandmother of Leo Maron. Marcelle will be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews.
A great lady, who was brave and devoted to her family as well as to her partner, Aaron Cohen Z’L. She passed with all the dignity and discretion with which she lived her life, leaving a profound void in our lives.
Heartfelt gratitude to Marcelle’s caregiver, Chandra Singh for her care and devotion throughout the years as well as to the 2nd and 4th floor staff at the Donald Berman Maimonides Geriatric Centre.
Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, June 23 at 3:00 p.m. Burial at the Baron De Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane.
