Louise Bennett

Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday evening, November 16, 2024, at the age of seventy-eight. Devoted mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Louise will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Robyn Bennett and David Glazer, and Neil and Tamara Bennett. Proud and treasured Bubby of Carly and Brianna Krane, Megan and Miles Bennett. Caring sister and sister-in-law of Jerry and Ruth Hecht, Robert and Sharon Hecht, Leslie and Lise Hecht, the late Paul and the late Carole Hecht.; and sister-in-law of Lenny and Paula Bennett, Marcia and Richard Zuker. Daughter of the late Ben and the late Betty Hecht. Loving companion of Mike Gelfand. Louise will also be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, their families, and her many friends at B’nai Brith House. She will always hold a special place as “Bubby Louise” in the hearts of those who knew her. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, November 18 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at the Beit Abraham Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O.
