Kenny Saxe

Peacefully, on November 22, 2024, at the age of ninety. Devoted husband of the late Lise St. Onge and the late Roslyn Saxe (Sheps). Beloved father of Glenn Saxe and Joanna Bures, and Gary Saxe and Esther Tordjman. Loving grandpa of Ryan Saxe and Dylan Ziegelbaum, Benjamin Saxe, and Samuel Saxe. Caring son of the late Charles and Eve Saxe. Dear brother of the late Brian Saxe and partner Martin St. Laurence. Precious friend and partner of Gloria Heller. Kenny will be fondly remembered by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, and by Lise’s children, Daniel and Sylvie Duquette, Gaetan and Suzanne Duquette, and grandchildren. A man who loved life, laughter, and cherished time with family and friends over a good meal. He is remembered by many for his years as a favorite coach and executive in the Cote St. Luc Minor Hockey and Baseball Associations, as well as the Cote St. Luc Slow Pitch League. Our utmost gratitude to caregivers Cita, Maricon, and Helen.  Special thanks to the compassionate and caring staff at the Jewish General Hospital, Julius Richardson Hospital, and Mt. Sinai Hospital.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, November 26, at 10 a.m. Burial at Rideau Memorial Gardens Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at his son’s home. Donations in Kenny’s memory may be made to Project Genesis (514-738-2036).
