Joice Breslow

Joice was a caring mother, grandmother and friend. She left this world on November 28th at the age of 85 after a heart-breaking period of physical and mental decline inflicted on her by dementia. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.

Joice was renowned for her sarcastic wit, steely determination and a sense of adventure. She instilled in her children a drive to succeed, regardless of what life throws at you. Her love of music, theatre and willingness to try new things will always be cherished. She leaves behind a crew of family, close and extended that she was very proud of and who will miss her greatly. She especially loved her role as Grammy and was cherished by her grandchildren, Kieryn and Jayden. She is survived by her daughter Lyndsey (Ty) and son Harris. Predeceased by her mother, Jeanette Pack.

Our family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff of the 7th floor Apotex at Baycrest Centre for their patience, kindness and support during Joice's time with them. 

 Funeral service from Brown Family Funeral Services, graveside service on Tuesday, December 3, at 1:00 p.m. at the Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound, Ontario. Friends and family to gather afterwards.

 In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Baycrest Foundation at 416-785-2875. As Joice prioritized finding joy in life and sharing it with others, the family asks that you do the same - go out and do something that brings you real joy and share it with those around you.
