On Saturday, March 1, 2025, in her one hundredth year. Dear sister of the late well-known violinist Arthur Garami, she leaves behind her son & daughter Ronnie Abonyi & Júdy Abonyi, grandchildren Darren, and Marcy Etcovitch, godson Dr. Andrew Gyopar, and best friend of Shari Fishman.

Eby was well known as a dressmaker, creating beautiful bridal party dresses.  She loved traveling to her favourite country of Italy and meeting many wonderful people along the way, and making new lifelong friends.  She was an avid reader and loved classical music.

Graveside service on Tuesday, March 4 at 2:00 p.m. at the Beit Abraham Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva Strictly Private. Contributions in Ibolya’s memory may be made to the Combined Jewish Appeal, click here.
