David Maxwell Kirsh

Peacefully in his ninety-fourth year on Friday, September 20, 2024. Wonderful and adored husband of Evelyn Ehrenwerth for seventy-one years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Robert Kirsh and Sidonie Berson. Cherished Grampa of Alexandra Kirsh and Jenn Robinson; Marissa and Richard Pires. Beloved  GG (great-grandfather) of Wesley and Warren;  James and Logan. Dear brother-in-law of Elliot and the late Inga Brodkin; uncle of  Harvey and Marion, Jonathan and Colleen.  Special cousin of Ellen Rubin and Malcolm McRae, Boris Baran, Joe and Edie Rubin. David was a Chartered Accountant by trade, but at heart a world class bridge player traveling the globe. When he wasn't playing bridge, he was skiing or playing tennis. He loved great food, and his family. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Cardiac Care Unit at the Royal Victoria Hospital, and to the exceptional staff at Place Kensington. David will be fondly remembered by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Sunday, September 22 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at the B’nai Brith Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O.
