Peacefully in her ninety-third year on Monday, July 22, 2024, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Devoted wife of the late Arnold Derstenfeld. Beloved mother of Patti, Jay and Glenn. Cherished Bubby of Myles and Maria Schecter, Ryan Schecter; Alex Derstenfeld and Christina Lamontagne, Kelly Derstenfeld and Alex Silver. Adoring great-grandmother of Liya, Hailey and Elie.  Dearest sister and sister-in-law of the late Pearl and the late Newton Migicovsky, the late Shirley and the late Jack Miller. Sister-in-law of the late Ruth and the late Joe Shnider, the late Sylvia and the late Mendy Staviss.  Loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Beatrice will be fondly remembered by Howard Nadler and Lori Raiken. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff in the Palliative Care Unit of the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Wednesday, July 24 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
