Joni Waiser - 15 days ago

Dear Randy, Mitchell, Helen & Toby, Growing up, being with my mother, Jean’s, bachelor brother, Arnold, on family occasions was always fun. However when he met Zinnie & she became his fiancée, now that was really COOL. She was the light of his life & I was delighted to have such a young hip aunt so full of pep & vigor. I was especially excited when Mitchell & Randy came on the scene. (BTW a fond lasting memory I have is David & myself taking M & R on a day’s outing to the Granby Zoo.) Zinnie enjoyed speaking her mind & I was often enlightened, learning from her. Sending my love & deepest condolences, Joni (née Weiner) Waiser Ottawa

My sincerest condolences on the loss of Zinnie. What a woman! She was my decorator through the years, but most important she and I became friends. She was a great listener and had an ability to understand the person. She always spoke lovingly about her family - her children, and grandchildren, and her dearest sister. Rest in peace, my friend. To the end you remained strong. - Francine

Shirley Nadell - 19 days ago

To Zinnie's children and grandchildren , Helen and Toby. Zinnie was a dear childhood friend and a member of our formidable trio with Dinnie and me. Inseparable during our early school days, playing on the Y basketball team, gathering on Fletcher's field, comparing school experiences (I was at UTT/Herzliah, Strath) etc etc...what fun! Zinnie was also my partner when we competed as a duo in synchronized swimming at McGill. Subsequently, with marriage, children and careers our lives moved in different circles. But when we had the opportunity to meet as adults, it was wonderful to reminisce about the great times we had. Deeply saddened that she is gone. Please accept my most sincere expression of condolence.
