My beloved Uncle Allan was one of a kind. As kids we loved spending time with him as he was always so much fund, and we couldn't wait for his Donald Duck impressions. Abee also remembers how he used to make her laugh. Uncle Allan and Auntie Elinor were like a prince and princess for me, so beautiful, kind and loving like characters in the fairy tales I loved so much as a child. He always made sure to say something to make one feel treasured and special. The suffering in his last years was truly heartbreaking and not something a kind and caring man deserved. May he be at peace and surrounded by love for all eternity.

Dear Barbara and children. I am devastated to learn of Allan' s passing. As i think back and remember he was probably the eldest of my friends as we first met when his parents moved on to Delepe street which i believe was probably 83 years ago. Not only did we play on the streets and lanes together but we went to the same schools together all through our lives. I remember as if it was yesterday Barbara our chance meeting outside the bank in November and our 30 minute chat talking about him and your kids and ours. I feel very proud to have called him one of my friends. I remember visiting him in the hospital when we were allowed to and we talked about the good old days for hours and hours and could have gone on for more. Regretfully Thelma and i are out of town and only return to Montreal this coming Friday, otherwise I am sure you know that we would be there to say farewell my friend ,i will always remember you. May his memories always be a blessing to all of you. Love Thelma and Mish
