In the late 1950s, Eleanor, Bernie and their young daughters rented my uncle’s cottage next to ours in Baie Missisquoi on Lake Champlain. They were a lively couple who shook up our quiet community with activities, parties and laughter. I remember Eleanor as a beautiful and friendly lady.
