Addie and Colin, I am so deeply sorry for your profound loss. My cousin Miriam will leave me with the fondest childhood memories that grew into feelings of admiration and respect. Her love for knowledge and conversation, her classy style and presence, always guaranteed a wonderful time together at our family gatherings. I was especially fond of watching her and my father have their discussions and share their political views, cultural interests, travel, etc… It gave me such joy knowing your mom could always match my dad’s love for stimulating and intriguing conversations. May her memory always be a blessing to you both. Fondly, Pat and Holly

Dear Addie Thinking of you today and reliving the memories of all the years I spent with your mother. I was just 16 years at that time and we became even closer when she became my sister-in-law. I learned so much from her and looked forward to our shopping excursions at Oglivy’s, the lunches downtown, babysitting you. She had style, class and a joie de vivre. I was in awe of her. Glad to have had her in my life. Your Auntie Jackie🥰

Dear Addie, Colin and family please accept our condolences. I have such fond memories growing up and visiting my Auntie Miriam & Uncle Frank at their house downtown filled with a collection of artifacts from their worldly travels and Gigi nipping & growling at me. Your Mom was a tall elegant redhead who never seemed to age. She was an intelligent ball of fire, with a passion for the theatre, the opera, the arts and she could hold her own in any discussion on any topic. I was so impressed that even though she was in her 90’s she was posting stories on Facebook. I was lucky to have spent quality time with her when she stayed with me in Toronto, when she was in her 80’s, and of course she booked a play and went with best friend & sister-in-law Auntie Fanny who also was in Toronto at the same time. Your mother never missed an opportunity to enjoy the arts. My dad was so close to her and as a brother and sister they had the most amazing relationship. I was lucky enough to have both her and my father around for such a long time. I will miss my very special Aunt.

Dear Addie, so sorry that your dear mom has passed away. There are so many fond memories that we shared together at simchas. The last being at Aunt Fanny’s 100th birthday celebration. She looked radiant. Cherish the fond memories, you are in my thoughts. Fondly Gail

Dear Addie: I was so sorry to read that your Mom had passed. She was a lovely elegant lady who throughout my life was always part of family events, anyone connected to our Auntie Fanny was part of our family as well. Always beautifully dressed and groomed, she stood out from the crowd and left us with kind words to remember. May all the good memories of your Mom, Dad and grandmother help comfort you through these very difficult and sad days. May Miriam's memory serve as a blessing and inspiration. Fondly, Frimmie

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Miriam, a first cousin of my late father, Issie Landau. I have many fond memories of her from family events, including weddings and Bar Mitzvahs from years gone by. I always enjoyed having a conversation with her and catching up with her. She will be missed.
