Dear Hertzman and David Families Carol and I spent our formative years together at Talmud Torah, Herzliah and a summer or two at Camp Massad. We played and studied and I just remember Carol as a friendly, kind, patient and easy going person. She was always smiling and had a warm kindness about her that was so special. She got along with everyone and was well loved. It was so nice to see her at our reunion a few years ago. She hadn’t changed a bit. Same beautiful smile and gentle kindness. I am so sorry for your loss. May all her memories be for a blessing. BDE

Dear David and Hertzman Families, the Carol I remember was a warm, bright, funny person. I have many fond memories of Carol at Talmud Torah and Herz. After I moved from Montreal in 1976, I did not see Carol often - but in 1990, I was walking on Ben Yehuda in Jerusalem, and a voice called out to me - it was Carol, inviting me to visit with her and Pe'er. When my daughter attended a program at the Weizmann Institute, Carol wanted to have her over. Seeing her at our Herz reunion just a few years ago was great. I cherish many vivid happy memories of Carol, and am grateful for the short time we had together. May her memory be for a blessing.
