In reading the many notes of condolence here and elsewhere, I hope Nancy's family will realize, even more than they might have previously, how loved their sister, mother, cousin and friend was. Nancy was a truly unique individual. Having known her since her early days at Kehilla and through the many years that followed I was never short on amazement watching her tirelessly work for a cause in which we both believed, decent housing for all. A wonderful woman. She will truly be missed.

It was with great sadness that we learned of Nancy's death. Her children and our boys both attended Brown School, that's how we met through the Parents' Organization. Years later we re-connected when I joined the JCC where Nancy was a loyal, enthusiastic member. She loved organizing fundraisers and she loved helping people. She always had a smile and always carried her favourite Longchamp bags. We send our sincere condolences to her family.

Nancy was a pure "force for good" and will be deeply missed. Her extensive housing work and deep passion touched so many. I loved the magic of when she would light up and smile when she had a good idea - she would then make it everyone's good idea - and then we'd find ourselves rolling-up our sleeves to get it done! She will not be forgotten! My deepest condolences to her family and friends - take care of yourselves in these challenging times.

Mark and family, your sister seems to have left a wonderful legacy and the way her friends spoke she lived a full life. She made a statement and contributed a great deal to her community. She was a very special person. I know you must feel her loss greatly. Stay strong for each other and strong for her sons. It is a sad day in your household but the memories and times you shared will be with you forever. Covid has made this all very difficult but know you are in my thoughts. Sending hugs.

I am sorry to hear about the passing away of Nancy. I knew Nancy from graduate school at York University Environmental Studies where I worked on a few projects together (1975-77). Decades later, I was so glad to meet Nancy again, both of us working in the Jewish communal world. She had a very positive spirit and made a great contribution to Jewish and general society.. My thoughts are with family and friends. Michael
