Ian, I attended your father’s funeral on Zoom. It was clear from what Myles and others said, that your father had a full life, with lots of family and lots of familial joy; and was a mensch of a businessman as well. He was obviously a great guy in so many ways. Despite his failing health these past few years, Leo Ratner had a life well lived and well loved. During this difficult period, remember the good times and the blessing his life bestowed upon you, your family and everyone lucky enough to have shaken his hand. Having you as my friend and having gotten to know your family, your father also bestowed a blessing on me. I offer you and your family my deepest condolences. Harvey

Dear Libby, Rhonda, Ian and families, On behalf of my dad and my family, we wish you our sincere condolences. Uncle Leo being my dad's oldest friend along with the multiple family connections we have, makes this a very sad moment. That being said, I personally have many fond memories of him and spending time through the years with each of you. From Chomedey to CBB of O, to Boca there are few people I know longer than you guys and want you to know that I am thinking about each of you. Libby, I know my mom loved you dearly, and Randy (Rhonda) was one of Marcy's closest and oldest friends. Bram and Ian were two of my first friend as well , and I was blessed to have quality friends with them both later in life @ CBB of O.. With love love, Mitch

Dear Ratner Family, It is so very sad to hear of Leo's passing. We were in the same class of Pharmacy for 4 years, and I have so many fond memories of our time together . Whenever I saw Leo that glowing smile was always there, and he exuded warmth, and pleasure in seeing each other that was unmatched by anyone else. Everyone loved Leo, and Leo loved everyone. That says it all. May the great memories you have sustain you at this most difficult, and sad, time. BDH.
